A 15,000 person capacity, remarkable visuals and floor-rattling bass - what more could you ask for?

Since opening its doors in October 2023, Drumsheds has cemented itself as a vital addition to London’s nightlife, providing a much-needed boost to the city’s clubbing scene. Located in the heart of North London’s Tottenham Hale, this colossal warehouse has quickly become an icon, boasting the title of the largest nightclub in the world. The venue offers three massive dancefloors, five fully stocked bars, and a sprawling outdoor smoking area lined with diverse food vendors, all within a mind-blowing 608,000 square feet of industrial space.

For those nostalgic about the venue’s roots as an iconic IKEA flatpack store, you’ll still find traces of its industrial heritage woven into its modern design. However, Drumsheds has evolved into much more than its past, transforming into a hub for state-of-the-art clubbing experiences, cultural events, and community gatherings. The redevelopment of the space is a prime example of how Britain continues to embrace a repurposing culture for industrial landmarks.

Drumsheds was brought to life by Broadwick Live, the same masterminds behind Printworks, another legendary London venue that closed in early 2023. Designed as a multi-level, multi-room blank canvas, Drumsheds accommodates a diverse range of events beyond club nights, including fashion exhibitions, film shoots, and high-profile product launches. This innovative approach ensures that the venue’s vast space remains as dynamic as the crowd it draws.

The club itself is split into three distinct spaces: the X-Room, a cavernous 10,000 m² hall with soaring ceilings and unparalleled acoustics, and the Y-Room, which holds an impressive 5,000 people. In a recent interview, Simeon Aldred, Broadwick’s strategic director, shared that Drumsheds embodies a growing trend of reclaiming industrial spaces for cultural use.

“There is a movement across Europe wherein buildings are being repurposed for cultural uses, shaping a revolution in modern industrial culture,” he explained. “Berlin leads the way, with Cold War-era buildings like Berghain, the world’s most famous techno club, built into a former thermal power station. Drumsheds aims to bring that same ethos to London.”

Over the past year, Drumsheds has hosted some of the world’s most renowned DJs and performers, from Bicep and CamelPhat to Shy FX and Peggy Gou. Its meticulously designed sound system ensures that every beat reverberates through the crowd, while its immersive lighting and visuals rival the best in the world. With sold-out shows and increasingly diverse programming, Drumsheds continues to evolve as a cultural and nightlife beacon for London.

Looking ahead to 2025, the venue shows no signs of slowing down. With a packed calendar of events, including international DJ line-ups, live performances, and new multi-sensory experiences, Drumsheds is set to remain at the forefront of global club culture. Whether you're a seasoned raver or a newcomer seeking an unforgettable night out, Drumsheds is the place to be for cutting-edge music, visuals, and vibes.
